William González Baquero graduated on Psychology at the Colombia Catholic University and mastered in Audiovisual Communication at the University of Salamanca. He currently is a PhD student and Observatorio de Contenidos Audiovisuales (OCA) member, is linked to the Sociology & Communication Department, and participates in the Doctorate Program “Education in the Knwoledge Society” (USAL). His research lines, just as his collaboration in different projects, revolve around hate speech, especially islamophobia, social media analysis and Big Data, topics reflected at the communications he has done in several national and international congresses and his publications. Nowadays he is working on his doctoral thesis under Dr. Carlos Arcila Calderón’s supervision.
