Teresa Martín García holds a PhD in Journalism and a Master in Institutional and Business Communication from the Complutense University of Madrid. She is an expert in Gender and Communication from the Pontificial University of Salamanca. She has more than 10 years of professional experience in different fields of communication, marketing and advertising.

She has also worked as a journalist in different fields of communication, working as a redactor in several media, such as Prisa Revistas, and local televisions, as well as consulting in Atrevia and corporate communicator in the department of marketing and communication of Building Technologies of Siemes. Since 2010 she works in the Digital Production and Innovation Service of the University of Salamanca, coordinating projects and activities of the MEDIALAB USAL and developing new marketing and digital communication strategies for social media and other channels of USAL.

She has also developed a teaching and researching career and the Complutense University and at the University of Salamanca, participating in several publications, mostly about marketing and digital communication trends, gender stereotypes in social media and the relationship between fashion consumption and gender.
